With Franco's partner Elizabeth taking care of the dinning room they make for a winning team providing simply superb food and a little piece of Italy on the South Devon coast.

Your Host and head chef Franco has been preparing the best Italian food in Devon for over twenty years and in 1989 opened and ran the La Cava Italian restaurant in Exmouth.

In 1994 he opened Mario and Franco's in Budliegh Salterton which was voted the Best Place to Eat in Devon by West Country Television and enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame! After that he opened Amia in mid Devon before opening up The Colosseum in Teignmouth in 2000.

Many of Franco's customers have followed his progress and enjoyed his cooking since those early days and come along to enjoy some of the best Italian food found any where in the South West at the Colosseum.
