On the seafront in Sidmouth a charming restaurant and bar with a super outdoor area that teems with people on a summer day.

The food is informal and relaxed with a daily changing specials board featuring local fish.

The conservatory offers great views to enjoy your pint with a day time snack.

After a complete refurb Dukes is back with a relaxed continental feel but the menu is firmly based on the best of local Devon food.

Rump of lamb with roasted Provencal veg, seared pollack with mash, slow roast belly of pork with cider sauce are just some of the tempting options.

There are great steaks, a good choice of vegetarian and the fish pie is a firm favourite.
