The Tower Inn

Slapton Kingsbridge

Tel: 01548 580216

Nestled in the picture postcard village of Slapton and dating back to the 14th century, the Tower Inn simply oozes character and charm.

Passionate about fresh local produce, prime Blackhawton beef and Devon meats, local game and the freshest of Plymouth and Brixham fish all feature on the delicious looking menus.

Exposed stone walls, low ceiling beams and diner by candle light add to the atmosphere inside while a delightful beer garden with the famous Chantry Tower as a back drop complete this historic Inn.

Further Details

With 3 well appointed rooms from which to explore this cosy part of Devon, the Tower Inn provides the perfect retreat for short breaks or holidays.

Enjoy comfortable accommodation and some of the best food served for miles around.

Originally part of the Collegiate of St Mary and founded in 1373 by Sir Guy de Brian, the Chantry Tower still presides over the village of Slapton, and the Pub, to this day.

The College has long disappeared but the remains of the Tower and the Pub endure and are a legacy of a time long since forgotten.
