Originally part of the Collegiate of St Mary and founded in 1373 by Sir Guy de Brian, the Chantry Tower still presides over the village of Slapton, and the Pub, to this day.
The College has long disappeared but the remains of the Tower and the Pub endure and are a legacy of a time long since forgotten.
