Clare and Kelvin Turner haven't looked back since opening Clarets Restaurant in October 2007.

And with Clare having worked all over North Devon for the last 20 years brings a wealth of experience to the kitchen and a very loyal fan base to the dining room.

Ilfracombe Fish and Seafood, Mullacott Beef and Veg from Braunton and Combe Martin have contributed to Clarets success from day one and the rustic country cuisine on some wonderfully crafted menus.

Open from Thursday until Saturday from 7pm onwards for some of the freshest seafood in town.

Rustic Country Cuisine using locally caught Fish, Seafood and locally reared Steaks.

 

Vegetarian Options:
Good choice including the Moroccan spiced filo strudel with Harissa and yoghurt sauce.

 

Sample Dish:
Whole sea bass filleted, stuffed with mixed mushrooms and herbs, wrapped in pancetta and gently baked in a parcel to retain all the delicious juices, served out of the parcel, no skin and hopefully no bones!!! Gurnard fillet pan fried in garlic and herb butter. Medallions of venison loin lightly sautéed and served pink in a rich redcurrant, rosemary and red wine sauce with mixed mushrooms, served with a selection of fresh vegetables and potato dish of the day.
