Serving up some of the best seafood for miles around, The Anchor Inn continues to please.
The newly opened and extended dining area oozes character and has been seamlessly stitched to the original Inn with a good deal of thought.
The extra space is very welcome for such a popular port of call and winner of so many accolades.
A standout on the menu is the fresh seafood.
The tricky decision here is which dish might taste best!

The Inn itself the owners are told dates back some 450years and originally opened as a seaman's mission.
Indeed, the Anchor was a haven for seaman and smugglers alike in days gone by and is still haunted by a friendly ghost and his dog!
The seafood menu is extensive the choice is fantastic. All the ingredients are fresh and sourced locally and you will find a "Fish of the Day" board in the restaurant area.
The staff will also recommend what's good if you should need pointing in the right direction and the list of awards for its food as well as its service make the Anchor Inn a great port of call.
