An exceptionally friendly traditional pub and restaurant in the seaside resort of Westward Ho on the North Devon coast.

Honest home cooked food enjoyed in the bar or restaurant and some very well kept ale and beer keep the Village Inn teaming in the summer.

With a great conservatory, patio garden and al fresco dining the Village Inn is everything a traditional pub should be.

Look out for the Cracking Sunday Lunch which is not to be missed!

The Village Inn is situated only a few minutes walk from The North Devon and Somerset Coastal Paths and The Royal North Devon Golf Club.

This makes for an ideal base for walking and golfing holidays and for touring the West Country generally, or simply for a peaceful, relaxing break here in this lovely historic resort itself.

Close at hand are the quaint seaside villages of Clovelly and Woolacombe. Barnstaple, which is Britain's oldest borough is also nearby, with its famous pannier market, theatre, clubs, cinema and excellent shopping centre.

Theme parks, gardens, Exmoor National Park and the beautiful rugged coastline are all here to cater for all age groups and interests.

Steak, Ale and Mushroom Pie - Tender pieces of local beef with mushrooms slowly cooked in real Devon ale and topped with a light puff pastry lid and served with fries and petit pois or Chefs potatoes and fresh vegetables. Surf n Turf - 6 oz Fillet Steak on a bed of sautéed tiger prawns with a wild mushroom and garlic sauce served with home-made fries and petit pois. Fillet of Monkfish - Poached in coconut and chilli liquor served with chefs korma sauce and sat on a bed of rice and stir fry vegetables.
