Cosy, warm, intimate and romantic, a delightful little restaurant in Ilfracombes Fore Street. Crisp linen, wicker chairs and tasteful decor and a thoughtful menu with one or two surprises. Fresh and local produce used where possible including Rainbow Trout, Cornish Sardines or the Walnut, leek and Stilton pie. I'm told the Lamb Kleftico is an absolute standout. Include some warm and friendly service to proceedings and Basils will provide an evening of good food and fine wine.
